Thought I'd better check in since I've been away for a while . I didn't get to ride much last season , damn doctors , but I'll be riding more this year . I was wondering if any of you guys could assist me with a query I have.

My ride is smooth and normal unless I am in 3rd gear twistin' the wick (throttling up). All other gears sound normal and as expected. Third gear is not making a tapping, scraping, rubbing sound or anything like that. It is more like a whirring that gets louder as you accelerate, but goes away instantly when you decelerate. I hope that it is something normal, but with my experience working on bikes this...

Well, I do not have a garage to house my two TOURERS so I have them under a shelter with a top but no sides. The elements or something has really left the windshields with a film. Soap and water will not clean them nor will Honda spray polish. Does anyone have an idea other than a slow process of inch by inch cleaning???? A fingernail will remove it and not scratch the shield. Thanks.

I replaced it with a valk-cut Clearview. It's off my '98 Ace T which was purchased new in 2000. No grommets or hardware included.

Fender turn signals

I need a fender turn signal assembly. For me to put any size saddle bags on I need to relocate the turn signal lights to the fender.
I would like to have a set from a tourer since I believe they would fit my ACE. Any ideas would be appreciated, Joel.

I'm thinking of starting a petition for motorcycle parking in the parking lot at work. After searching for about 45 minutes, I haven't found much in the way of good diagrams, spec, or pictures. I wanted to propose the sign, the marking, and the metal kickstand strip. Does anyone have any pictures or diagrams to offer?

Is it YUKU or just me? Today, I am getting white backgrounds and the forum is really stretched from side-to-side of my screen. Then, occasionally, the screen will have the black background. Then the next page will be the white background again. Weird!

just wondered where most of you go for accessories. i had some items ordered from cruiser customizing and it's been on back order for two weeks and now they're saying another week...if you can believe that. i've ordered from j&p, but their shipping and "handling fees" add a lot to the order. i got a mustang fender bib for the last LC i had...sold for around $34 bucks and by the time i got it, was nearly $44. just thought that was a little excessive.

What are folks doing about replacing thier windshields? Bikebandit.com lists the OEM windshield at $343. Mine is faded and turing yellow. A new one would be nice. Has anyone replaced theirs with a windshield for a regular ACE? I want to add spotlights to mine to so that is a consideration. On that note, any idea where to find the Cobra billet ones? I'm finding it hard to find parts for this bike...
