Cloverfield - Don't waste your money!

My daughter talked me into going to see Cloverfield last night. I like sci-fi, so I figured - what the hell - let me check out the reviews - they're okay....alright, I'll go see it. What a waste of money and time. The entire film was shot with a hand-held camera. The camera shake was horrific. The camera only held still three times during the entire movie; first, for about four seconds when the operator fell down, second for about seven seconds when the operator set it down to...

Hello all,
A good friend of wrote a book called Lunch With God. It's not a religious book but a humorous one. He really has a sharp wit and unique since of humor.

I don't know how many of ya'll know who Neil Peart is. For those that don't, he is the drummer for Rush. Rush is one of may favorite bands and, being a drummer myself, Neil is (hands down) my favorite drummer. In my opinion, the best drummer breathing air right now.
That being said, he is also and very good writer and an avid motorcyclist. He has written four books that are about motorcycling and touring with Rush. Usually, when Rush is on tour, he rides from show to show...

anybody seen "ghost rider"? when it was at theaters, didn't look all that good to pay 10 bucks to see, but it's out on video now and my grocery store has a dollor day movie rental, so i rented it last night. not a bad movie, but no where near "wild hogs". it had some great special effects and so-so story if you're into sci-fi, but i'd give it about a 6-7 of 10. later, bud
