hi everyone

I hang out mostly on the Honda Shadow 750 Aero forum and the ST-Riders forum
Current rides are a 2007 Shadow Aero and a Honda ST1100

I'd like to get down to one bike and am thinking about selling mine and getting something that will do for trips and local use.

I'm scouting around and the Tourer looks like it may be the bike for me

New Jersey 2000 Ace Tourer rider

I have been riding over 40 years. I bought my bike new in 2000 and over the years have added lights, chrome trim, changed the windshield, sirius radio and cassette player with the speakers in my mirrors, just to name a few. I ride all year, weather permitting. When I started riding I had several Harleys, a Yamaha and now my Ace Tourer. I have been to the Americade in Lake George NY several times and ride in Charity Runs whenever I can.

Good morning everyone. I am Will T. From the Mississippi Delta. I do not currently own a T but am in the market for one as soon as I can talk my wife into letting me get another bike. I did own a Aero 750 for about a year but sold it for a 4-wheeler thinking that gas prices would not get higher and I would not get much riding done. Well four years later I need one more then ever. Newbie with aftermarket parts questions

Bought my Tourer last year, love the bike, but hated how muted the factory exhaust sounded.

Just had Vance & Hines pipes put on along with Jet kit and K&N Air filter, and am now noticing a lot more vibration at speeds over 75mph on the freeway that were not there before.

Also, any suggestions on floorboards? The cobra ones I bought will not fit now with the aftermarket pipes.

What to say? Thanks for the welcome.

Been riding since about 1986 when I bought a Yamaha Vision 750 for about $2000 (Yamaha had been trying to get rid of a huge surplus for years) and then put 120K miles on in the next 10 years riding all over the country.

I've had my VT1100T for a few years. Love it. It is a bit wartorn right now and I'm trying to make up by giving it some love.

Just bought a T. I was shopping for a reliable used bike and the VT1100 was on my list. Wandered into one of the local Honda dealers and they had just taken a T in trade. Made me a very good deal on the spot as they did not have to process the trade in.

I am not new to the forum. I have been hanging around as some say. This is the first time I have been able to figure out how to send a post. I foud this quite by accident.
Anyway, I am thinking about purchasing a hitch and building a trailer to pull. My idea is to use fiberglass to build the shell and maybe purchase some front wheels from a bike bone yard to keep it off the ground.
I will eventually learn how to send photos, then watch out. I accidentally sent this post as a reply...
