Do your exhaust header have Blueing visible?

I would like to poll the forum and ask how many of the owners of Tourer's have visible blueing on your headers. Front header / rear header / both.

The point of the question is to see how many owners of the T have this blueing condition and where.

Mine appears on under the chrome guard and is visble around the rear brake pedal. The rear header appears to be okay.

I bought 1999 tourer, on inspecting the air cleaner i found rocks they look like washed gravel,

I am having trouble find those tire size in my area..........Ebay dont have front tire mostly rear tire .Wonder if is ok to use CHENG SHIN HI-MAX rear
to put on front it won't hurt right? The tread is same as front and read.

2000 Tourer vs 2006 VTX; Help me make a decision Please ! ! !

So, I've got the price "almost" down where I want it for the 2000 Tourer; seller says "it's not perfect." It's got about 14K miles, windscreen, light bar, Jardine pipes, "carb kit," and that's that.

For approx $ 2000 more, I can get a 2006 VTX 1300 (not sure yet which model, looks like C); seller says "excellent condition. It's got 3800 miles, never been dropped." Comes w/ windscreen, floorboards, bags, and that's...

Well , a friend of mine accidentally hit my bike the other day . This helped me to make a decision I have been thinking about since we decided to keep the T for our bigger bike . I am going to have the T painted . I am not sure what colors to use , but I am fairly sure I want some old school flames like the old 50's hot rods had . My painter wants to go with a satin black , but I am not really sure I want to go that far with it . I really like bright shiney items , and am not real sure...

When you stop to get off the bike, how do you kill the engine?
I always use the switch and never use the "Kill Switch". Seems that some think this is wrong and you should always use the "kill Switch". The reason for this is, so that you keep both hands on the bars until the engine is dead. My brother-in-law, owner of a Victory Tourer, and his wife have come to the Carolinas from California to visit with my wife and I for a few days. Id like to take a poll of guys running replacement tires. What brand, model , exact size, maybe some observations. I'll need to replace my tires (again) and I'd like to try something other than the low mileage stock Dunlops.
