well, guess i did need to do a little cleaning on the aero. when i got to looking, it needed a good detail, but was still in overall good shape for a 10 year old bike. unbelieveable was the condition the wire wheels were in. not a bit of rust or corrosion and they were real clean in between the spokes.
took it apart and did the cleaning thing and now waiting for new bags, chrome wheel hub, tail light visor, and rear fender bib(will probably run it solo a lot), and maybe a couple other...

guess i have the LC i got about a month ago pretty much done. studded the backrests and bags, changed all the fluids/filters, installed new rear tire, cleaned/waxed everything. i lowered it 2", but then the rear tire was rubbing when i'd hit a bump, so changed that to 1" and tightened the mono shock and seems to be good now. suppose to be near 80 here today, so will get some riding time in. bud

As you read in my very tongue and cheek report on the sale of my T last Saturday, Gary and Pat rode over on Pat's trike and just "insisted" that I take it out for a ride. They didn't have to ask twice. Speaking of rocket...I looked down and saw the speedo at 80mph. I then shifted out of second and she really took off! Just kidding about the second gear not the 80mph.

LC finally done

been a long winter, but think i finally have the LC finished. took all the tins off and did a very deep detailing, installed an alarm system, made my own lowering links and lowered the bike an 1 1/2", re-jetted the carbs to a stage three system, added new saddlebags, installed complete new rear wheel/tire/brake system, and numerous items of chrome and leather. even got a little saddle time in the last few days here in kansas city. bike runs/rides great, but gotta say i'm still not...

Well, It was time to get a bigger bike, that I could still get parts for, so I traded in the "T", and bought a new,( for me), Yahama Road Star. It has 17.5K miles on it, and a LOT of the things I had wanted for my T. Sorry to disappoint you guys, but a change was needed with the baby coming. I will continue to still come to this site, and I hope I will still be welcome.

2000 BMW K1200LT-Custom.

Needs some maintenance items and a rear tire, but everything seems to be working. CD changer, AM/FM/cass/CD, cruise control, electric windshield, trip computer, heated grips, heated pilot seat, HID headlight upgrade.
Amazingly, this cost less than our T did when we bought it 4 years ago.

put the bike in the garage last week and have been working nearly every day this week on it. took just about every piece off i could and cleaned it, waxed it, changed all fluids, installed new rear tire/wheel assembly, cleaned all electrical connections and put 'er back together with all the "goodies" i had collected over the winter. still have an alarm, tank bib, and driver seat backrest to install, but going to take a break from her for now. i've got 'er to a point...

hey guys heres a few pics i added ive my bike since ive changed a few things since i got it. first i pulled the small windshield and replaced it with a memphis fats shield with gradient black, also installed the light bar its just a cheapy 35.00 on ebay i had the lights already, also changed the seat back to stock for the moment until i can get my mustang seat, also replaced the bars the prior owner had on it with the original bars the ace came with. i'll be changing lots more threw this...

Here's the replacement for my T. My brother and best friend moved down to Florida and this should make the 2400 mile round trip easier. It's a 2006 Electra Glide Classic, Black Cherry, 5300 miles. A bank repo I picked up for $14,900 + 700 to ship it to Michigan. Had it two days and I'm starting to get the hang of the weight.

with cooler weather coming on, lillian doesn't ride with me that much, so i've been wanting to give this bike a solo look. got bored yesterday, so tore into the job and this is the results. i had lowered the bike a couple inches already and think this look makes it "appear" even lower. i need a backrest and had made one for this bike and attached it to the pillion, so i moved the saddleman pouch behind the driver seat, made a stable bracket to fit inside and then attached it...
