Well, I do not have a garage to house my two TOURERS so I have them
under a shelter with a top but no sides. The elements or something has really left the windshields with a film. Soap and water will not clean them nor will
Honda spray polish. Does anyone have an idea other than a slow process of inch by inch cleaning???? A fingernail will remove it and not scratch the shield.
Thanks.

I am planning as my next addition to my Tourer some of that chrome edging on the flange around the gas tank. I believe that I read here on the forum that it is
best to remove the gas tank and work with the edging on a warm if not hot day.

I know that I should run the gas tank just about dry. Shut off the petcock and pull off the rubber fuel line. But as I examined my gas tank in anticipation of
the removal I noticed that there is a small rubber hose coming off the back of the tank...

Alright, another question from me to ya'll. What do you use to clean your wheels and make them shine, or at least not be covered in built up brake dust,
road grime, and other assorted accumulation? I dont want to use something on them that might harm them, so I thought I'd ask.

Also, if scrubbing is involved, I have a GREAT idea that is a carryover from my climbing. I thought of this myself, so please give all credit to me for

I didn't see any tips on removing emblems, so thought I would share our quick tip when John and I want to remove emblems from tanks...

Take a length of fishing line, tie each end around a wrench (you'll be holding on to the wrench instead of the line so you don't hurt your fingers when
pulling the line). Use a sawing motion (pulling towards yourself) to get under the edge of the emblem with the fishing line, and slowly make your way all the
way to the end of the emblem....

having been brought up to spec by the local Honda dealer before I picked it up...new rubber, battery, carbs cleaned etc. The only real cosmetic issue is that
some of the metal has oxidized, spotted and is generally discolored in many places. I normally use a combination of Mother's, Turtle Wax and Maguire's
