i am new to site and have a 98 and am having real problems this spring getting my shadow going.

put in a new battery, old one bad bad cells, and lights and idiot lights were on then went to hit starter and boom everything went dead, no lights or idiot
lights nothing, didn&#39;t hear a boom btw.  well checked the main 30 amp fuse and not blown checked the accesory fuses nothing blown.  Battery has charge but

the alt/stator. He got the highest output.So we started looking in his parts manual and the difference wasn&#39;t the stator it was the flywheel.There were two

I had to replace the battery in my T. Bought a T shaped maintainence free battery. When I went to take the old one out, I had to remove the battery box to get
the battery out. The battery fits so tight I don&#39;t think I can get it back in if I install the box first, and I can&#39;t can&#39;t reinstall it with the
battery in the box.

Any suggestions or tips?

			<description><![CDATA[ Well it looks like the T curse got me, I&#39;ve had trouble lately keeping the battery charged so today before I went for a ride I checked the stator output
and I was getting nothing. so it looks like I&#39;m going to have to remove the seat and do a full chrging stystem check to see what&#39;s wrong. Lets hope its
something simple. Any suggestions will be a help.

My headlight is vibrating and causing a rattling noise when I&#39;m riding. I can reach past my speedo and just touch the headlight and the noise stops.

			<description><![CDATA[ The temperature light on my speedometer isn&#39;t working. According to the shop, Wingworx in Sacramento, the connection is good. The LED temp light in the
speedo is a non-repairable item. My choice is to replace the speedometer or mount a temperature gauge. My question is about the sending unit. Will it support a
temperature gauge, or is it a simple on/off switch which activates the idiot light? If anyone has put on a temperature gauge, which one did you choose? Thanks
