			<description><![CDATA[ According to motortrend.com the new formulation of Shell Rotella(R) T Synthetic 5W-40 will be available in bulk, drums, gallon, and quarts beginning May 19,
2008.  I can&#39;t find anything on the shell site though.   I know a number of us use the old formulation I hope this new one is just as good.  This is
suposed to be JASO wet cluch OK&#39;d.    All the hype sounds good. I&#39;m hopping to find some next week and try it out as I&#39;m ready for a oil change.

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;m on the road with my Harley owning friend and he shamed me in to buying Mobil 1 V-Twin oil.  If it&#39;s good enough for his Harley then it&#39;s good
enough for my Honda.  At about $9 per quart it isn&#39;t cheap and with the Purolator filter it adds up, but this is the nicest my T has shifted since I bought
it.  It still has a hitch between 3rd and 4th but it&#39;s not as pronounced.  The engine runs quieter and starts easier, too.<img... ]]></description>

I now have a filter that is BIG enough for my peace of mind.

didn&#39;t pass due to higher than allowable ash content. But restrictions on ash and sulfur content for 2007 and later on-road diesels caused them to change
the formulation. The new 15W40 does pass JASO MA, and the new 5W40 synthetic which will be introduced in a month or so also... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I just changed my oil from Valvoline 10W40 Motorcycle Oil to Castrol GTX 20W50 (It has gotten hot down here). My impressions are all subjective, but here goes.
The engine is quieter, the shifts more positive and the clutch seems to grab sooner and more positively. My T used a qt of the valvoline every 1000-1500 miles.
The valvoline was black and seemed to be somewhat burnt at 2500 miles. We&#39;ll see what the Castrol does there. Anyway, the Castrol is less expensive by over

			<description><![CDATA[ Just realized the Rotella oil I have has a little thing that says triple protection, I looked all over the back and it didn't say its a friction additive or anything to do with energy conserving, so am I in the clear?<br><br>
I know none of the Rotella T oils have friction modifiers but I don't think the oil I got was the Rotella T, I think it was regular Rotella. ]]></description>

They are rated for 98% first pass efficiency and 99% for multiple pass efficiency, which is very high for any disposable filter. Since it is made of woven synthetic fibers it will last longer than any paper filter, including the highly rated Purolator PL14610.
