Not one
dealer in the area had one in stock, says it will take a week to get.

			<description><![CDATA[ I have been reviewing my manuals getting ready for my maintenance on the T.  I came across some conflicting information regarding the check of the final drive
fluid level.  The Honda owners manual and Honda Shop manual say to leave the bike on the side stand.  Cylmers warns that leaving the bike on the side stand
leads to a inacurate reading and the bike should be upright.

			<description><![CDATA[ Guys, I&#39;m getting a little movement in the front end when applying the front brake. Also the front wheel at low speeds when turning the front end seems to
want to &quot;flop&quot; in yhe direction you are turning. I think/hope it may need the steering head bearings adjusted. What all&#39;s involved in doing this.
Anyone have another suggestion  I&#39;m hoping to get a manual soon. Thanks

			<description><![CDATA[ When I pushed my T out of the garage this mroning (backwards) I could hear a metalic scraping sound.  The first time I heard it I schrugged it off as possibly
being the brake pad touching the rotor.  Bit it sounds way to metalic and I had new pads installed about 1,000 miles ago.   I thought I also heard it while
making a slow left turn.  It seemed to go away when I straightened out again.  Does anyone have a clue what this could be??

			<title><![CDATA[ Spark Plug Change Report.  Spark Plug Socket Question ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ With almost 10K on my T, I decided to change the plugs.  All four were black, like it was running too rich.  The plugs from the left cylinders did have some of
the light gray colot on the plugs.  The bike has not been misfiring, though this spring, MPG dropped from 45 to 40.  I wonder if I am leaving the choke on a
bit too long.  with the engine cold, I crank it using full choke, idle for a minute at most, then ride 1/2 mile to the end of my road.  Then choke off, and

before riding 1200+ miles.

New front tire - this is the easy one. I picked up a 206F from eBay at a great price. Friend has a tire machine. I just need to pick up some lead to balance

			<description><![CDATA[ I have about 18,000 miles on my bike since the last fuel filter change. My bike started backfiring just a couple hundred miles ago and I think that is because my carbs aren't getting enough gas. Everything worked great up until that time and I'm a firm believer in "check the simplest things first" philosophy. My milege suggests that I have had about 150 fill-ups since that last filter change and some of those fill-ups have been at some real out-of-the-way gas stations that might have had some... ]]></description>

Since the Shadows don't have a chain to lube, I'd think the utility of such a lift is very limited. Doesn't look like it can lift the bike high enough to remove the rear wheel (without taking off the fender). Seems to me like a centerstand only it doesn't stay on the bike. 			<description><![CDATA[ With winter nearly here, the mice where I live (Colorado) can make life miserable for storage of trucks, tractors, farm equipment, and especially motorcycles.  I have had them eat the foam out of the seats when covered with a tarp and stored inside.  <br><br>
Several years ago I read that mice hate the smell of peppermint.  Since then I have put peppermint Altoids in all the vehicles, tractors, and under the cover of my bikes.  It really seems to work.  It is pretty cheap, smells better than... ]]></description>

Wanted to change out Spark Plugs and<br>
the manual said to tourque them to<br>
10 Ft Lbs. (or 14 Neutons per Meter).<br><br>
So I hand tightened my first plug and<br>
engaged my new tourque wrench and<br>
cranked and cranked -- not yet reaching <br>
the 10 Ft. Lbs -- I chickened out, not<br>
wanting to bust a plug.<br><br>
Is that going to mess something up?<br><br>

			<title><![CDATA[ Craftsman lift with Larin adapter? ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I just purchased a Sears motorcycle lift, cause it was highly recommended and cheap. I was able to get more ground clearance by riding the bike up onto 4x4's.<br>
But I coudn't get the spacers blocks to stay in the correct points. They kept moving or falling off. <br>
Has anyone had any experience using a Larin Universal lift adapter with a Sears lift?<br> ]]></description>
