Any help would be great. Thanks in advance. I have a vibration and purring noise in the bike at times. It's always after the bike is warmed up. It is there
when I am leaning the bike either way, and when I hit a small bump in the road. I thought it was wheel bearings, even though they looked fine, I replaced them
(front and rear). After that didnt fix it I thought it might be drive shaft noise so I pulled the shaft and swingarm, and it all looks fine. The u-joint is
pretty clean, no dirt...

wide, I really didn't gain anything. I have been told that I can only lower the shocks by about 1/2 - 3/4" and that if I change the tires to a lower

I discovered that the right rear shock's lower mounting on my 2000 1100T with 17,000 miles is broken, and the shock will have to be replaced. I checked
the Honda shop manual regarding the replacement procedure and it only covers which bolts to remove and the torque specs for re-tightening. I would assume
that the shocks are supporting the rear suspension and that it is necessary to find a way to take the weight off those shocks in order to remove them. And if
that is the case I do...

The Progressive 412's are great. Riding with the slightest preload gives a plush, comfortable ride. When I load up for the rally's, I may adjust the
preload a notch or two stiffer. Very easy to do with the supplied shock tool.

bike in either directions. This rubbing was not the normal rubbing of discs on rotor. Lately it's gotten worse; the engine runs fine, the transmission
shifts OK and presents no odd synptoms but I wonder if the wheel bearings could be shot? I had it in to a dealer a couple of months ago and they assured me

For comparison, the Honda SS-8 is a 10W fork oil.

The improvement was pretty dramatic to me. Maybe it's because the original oil was well past its useful life and needed to be replaced anyways, but the 15W
