			<description><![CDATA[ Interesting that it sounds difficult to find a non-snob group to join or ride with.  Here in SW Michigan I think most of us are just glad to have a few months to enjoy riding.  Energy Tuesday evening there are three groups that I know of that take a group ride.  Two are just to ride and one is an association (CMA) that welcomes anyone to ride with them.  Nobody seems to care about what you ride or where you bought your bike.  We ride with the CMA because we know this local chapter ride always... ]]></description>

It goes farther than that.  My sisters friend wanted to buy a HD a few years back.  She went to Southeast HD and they wouldn't give her the time of day.  She walked out and bought her HD from Heritage HD.  She was pleased with their attention and her bike.  <br><br>

The first two letters in ABATE stands for &quot;American Bikers&quot;. To me that means ANY one that rides a motorcycle. Not someone who rides a certain type of bike. What I find hilarious are the H-D owners who very reluctantly consider V-Rods Harleys.  They categorize them as German Harleys because Porsche designed the engine.  <br><br>
I believe those are the same insecure H-D owners that look down their nose on other H-D owners who do not have the largest V-Twin for the model year.  In other words they treat Sportster owners as second-class citizens.  Is there any hope for a person like that?<br><br>
