first year about 4000 second year 5000
this year have no idea but newer bike
rides me and wife better maybe more ( shes already planin on a couple trips )

Heck the year isn't even over yet and i've already got over 9k on her but i'm on track for a 10k+ year

on an average about.10,000 to 12,000...in spite of the cold weather...just the thought of putting her away for the winter makes me depressed..........

Lets just say that my liability only coverage this year and last have run a little more than a buck a mile. That from a million mile plus rider in the period 1953 thru 2004. The mind and heart are willing to keep it up but the old body slammed a big UH-UH to those days. Miss it? of course -- of course I do, every bit as much as I miss flying, but cest la vie all good things will reach their end. About 10K a year----for now. As vacation time increases, so will the mileage.

I put over 30,000 miles on my last bike in from Sept 2003 to June 2006. Most of them were local riding. I already have about 3,000 miles since buying my T in June. A day without riding is a day wasted.

About 3000 miles to Sturgis and back, another 1000 from Hog Rock and back and the other 1000 to work and back on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My 750 Shadow gets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and other short trips around town. I managed to put 3000 on the 750 last year.

14,000 last year...what a great year it was!! I'm so glad I work for a school system and have summers off..feel bad for my husband...I called one day when I'm was out on a ride and say, Well I should be home tomorrow. Right now I'm in International Falls. His only question was..."How's the bike running?" I have had the best time on my . The best ride ever!!!

ABV, I envy you. I'd like to cut my 29 miles commute to 14 miles. You can always take the long way home when you want to ride longer.

My average miles are going to be down, as I no longer ride 35 miles one-way tp work. The work ride is now 14 miles round-trip.

when I had a regular job, I averaged 10,000 miles per year, Now am in retail(bike shop) less than 6000.

Averaged about 1000 miles/month mostly nights and weekends last year. Was riding a Virago 750 and didn't feel comfortable taking it on the freeway. Somewhat under powered and too light. Looking forward to riding my T to work this summer and expect to double the monthly distances.
