The latest chapter in this on-going saga is the Motorcycle Safety Foundation is suing Team Oregon over copyright disputes as reported by David Hough, the original motorcycle safety author from the '70's, '80's & '90's who wrote for Road Rider magazine and who has also authored 3 popular motorcycle safety books including Proficienct Motorcycling. The past few years have seen a lot of odd behavior from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). On December 10, 2003, their President, Tim Buche, shocked everyone during the Murkowski Motorcycle Safety Amendment to the House version of the Highway Safety Bill when he said the state programs provided a broken economic model.
