        <![CDATA[ Anybody have and use a 3/4's length jacket?  If so, does it keep the cold air from coming up between your pants and your lower back?
Back in '99, before mesh jackets were available, I bought a waist length First Gear jacket.  It seems to be a very good all-year round jacket.  With the zip-in fleece liner it has been very warm. I did have an evaporative collar I used to use back in the 1990&#39;s when I played golf.  It felt cool for a while, then was warm and humid after that.  It
would probably have feel better if I was moving more quickly and replenished the water more often.

With my Hi-Viz Kevlar mesh jacket and pants, but without evaporative cooling, I expect I would feel happily fatigued after riding several hundreds of miles on

			<description><![CDATA[ I had been wanting to try a cool vest for those 90+ temps. Danbgt says they work great in the sub 100F heat in TX. The only draw back is that they rely on
evaporative cooling of the water within, and if the humidity is high they don&#39;t work as well. Anyone besides Dan got any personal experiences with these in
their own areas.

With air temperatures in the upper nineties I have been wearing my Motoport 100% Kevlar jacket and pants while riding the last couple of days.  As you know
whenever the air temperature gets above body temperature it is going to feel extremely warm.  It fact my face felt exceedingly hot when moving in the direction

Here&#39;s a couple of shots showing the visibility of the Motoport&#39;s Hi-Viz color.  While my brother, mother and her 90 year old husband were visiting I
took a glorious Tuesday off (May 6th) and we rode over to King&#39;s Mountain National Military Park as well as to the new Indian factory and around Crowder
Mountain.  It was a great day to be out riding.  My mother took these pictures.

As long as the jacket stays reasonably cool or at least not unbearably hot, I gladly trade comfort for safety.  I definitely would rather have Kevlar mesh and
not have the possibility of embedded, melted plastic in my skin.

1.  Motoport&#39;s 100% Kevlar mesh is not ever as comfortable or as cool as the polyester mesh First Gear jacket and Joe Rocket pants.  It is thicker and
heavier which means less air gets through and the material that lays on your skin causes it to sweat a little, even without the CE armor.  I am not saying that
it is not much cooler than solid ballistic nylon material or leather, because it is much cooler, but it is just not as cool or nearly as... ]]></description>

This week, a pair of 2mm thickTourMaster perforated deerskin gloves wore out on me.  I probably have had them 5-6 years.  They were very comfortable and other
than the fact that they bled black stain on me whether it rained or was hot enough to make my hands sweat they were my favorites in hot weather.  This week
both gloves developed rips in the leather 1/2&quot; to 3/4&quot; long near the outside of the wrist.  I am glad I was not wearing them in an accident.

price.  I still think I paid too much.
