I have come up with a way to build a set of chromed housing/ black
faced speakers for my T. These can be mounted either on the handle bars or down on the top of the engine gaurds. Everything including the clamps to mount them
will be chromed or stainless except for the speaker grills. The speakers are hi-quality 3.5" outdoor type that will stand up to the elements. They are not
amplified but I have located a very small 30W amplifier also so that you can play your ipod/ mp3 or discman...

I don't have the noise suppressor, but have not needed one either. Sounds like a loose connection somewhere aggravated by vibrations. It could be on either side, the input or the outputs. If you used a clamp on type connector for the remote, that is the first place I'd look. Those things do not work very well, or long.

Bob, make sure you put the amp in a dry location. It is not waterproof. If you still want to put it in the side panel, I would put it in a zip-lock freezer bag with the opening of the bag facing downward. Since you have the smaller sized amp, it should fit under the seat next to the air filter. Also, there is a wire harness for the tail lights under there that runs partially up the rear fender and down through a rubber gromet. I took a test light with a sharp probe and stabbed it into one of...

I think you may have the other amp they sell. My amp is the Pyramid Model#PB70 150w amp. that they sell. It has a blue (fused) hot wire and a black neg. wire for ground. The only orange wire on it is part of the speaker inputs from a std radio. I'm not sure what the orange wire does except for maybe a remote turn on. You'll need to contact cycle tunes to be sure.
