			<description><![CDATA[ In the for what it&#39;s worth dept. My E3 rear tire has 13000 miles and still looks like more and I just put an E3 on the front then took an 1100 mile ride
(two up). The handling was great and the wear is minimal. My only complaint is they are a little noisy on some surfaces. Still, they are durable and sticky..
Seems a good combination...Hope this helps some..Bob &lt;&gt;&lt;

rear. My front tire still looks brand new and I do not see any cracking even though I suspect this is the original OEM front tire.

			<description><![CDATA[ Scott, it is less than 400 miles from your place to mine...round trip. Especially if you take the easy route, by taking a ferry to and fro.<br><br>
Taber's is a very good shop, and I forgot to mention them. The price for the tire is way high, especially if that price does not include mounting, balancing, and tax. Wow, for that price you could get both a front and a back tire, and I would mount and balance them both, for free.<br><br>

			<description><![CDATA[ MMR - I just visited the Dunlop website and found the only recommended tire is the D206 with inflation levels well below your recommendations.  As a tire tester, why have they not incorporated your feedback in their recommendations?<br><br>
As I got a puncture last Sunday leaving the Oyster Run in Anacortes, I will be purchasing a new rear tire this week.  Thanks to all of you for bringing this information to the uninformed.<br><br>

			<description><![CDATA[ Dawg2, the Avon Venom that you have on the bike you wrecked...is it a bias belt tire, or a radial?<br><br>
I have not had experience with Avon Venom bias belt, but I have with the Avon Venom radials. I felt that the radial Venom was very good riding in all weather conditions, including bad rain. <br><br>
Our friend that has the bias belt Venom on her ACE T, with 32,000 miles on the front tire, does not appear to have any problems with her riding the bike in rain, as we do live in wet... ]]></description>

After 76K miles, a factory tire with plenty of tread just gave up--there's a big hole in the carcass. It probably followed the scenario Fred described. It had a temperature rating of B, you can be sure its replacement will be rated A. ]]></description>

I had the Avon Venom on my &quot;T&quot; that i wrecked a couple of weeks ago. I think the tire seemed to lose traction pretty quick, it was raining and I was in a curve and would have probably lost it with any tire it just seemed to me it broke traction to quick. Have you had much riding on them on the wet roads that might be helpful to me.<br><br>

			<description><![CDATA[ Vroomr, I would have to say...no. Since we have come to an agreement on the turns and curves adhesion of an underinflated tire, let's VERY briefly look at an underinflated tire going down a straight road.<br><br>
On a straight road, straight line riding, an underinflated tire would be pushing its' way down the road, rather than efficiently rolling its' carcarss down the road. Once again, I exaggerate the point by using the models of a tire inflated to 20 psi, and a similar tire inflated to 36... ]]></description>
