For now, everything feels good and my wife is so very understanding. Last year we hit the beautiful back roads of Ohio and west Virginia. 3000 miles in 5 days.
Here's the kicker. I did it on my supermoto. A 2005 DRz400SM. At times the seat felt like a barbed wire thong, but it was one of my most memorable rides.

Hi Fred,
Thanks for sharing those pictures of the Cabot trail. My mother-in-law lives in Sydney, Nova Scotia which is located near the south end of the trail. I have
driven the trail in my car many years ago and it was a beautiful scenic drive then. A couple of years ago when I was back in Sydney, I drove up the east side
of the trail to a small fishing village of Chetticamp to visit an old friend and was treated to some of the best fresh crab the east coast has to offer.

Not sure Fred. I do have a close friend who did the trail in a motor home some years back and he's up for doing it again on his motorcycle. We can take the
"Cat" ferry from Bar Harbor to Nova Scotia to save time. We're still kicking it around. Taking time off from work and money of course are the big
stumbling blocks. Motorcycle camping would definately be part of any trip to Canada as a big money saver.
