Thanks for the info, I think I will hold off because of the size issue and I like to do my own work on my bike and if the GL1800 is easier then I may just wait for the right one.

Feb or Mar of 2004 I was looking for my next bike. I had three trips planned and was pretty sure it was going to be a Goldwing. I was considering a 1999 GL1500 vs a new GL1800. At the time the 99 GL1500 was listed as 10,900 and I could get a new 03 GL1800 for 14,300. I weighed the pros and cons of each...

The GL1500 was less expensive, a proven performer and did not have high mileage. That's what I thought and it's in Kingston about a hour south of me. I was mainly wondering if the sell price is on for a 1993.

I saw this Goldwing on Craigslist, sale price $6,000 with miles 14,500. Owner wrote back to me and said it was in good shape with a few new extras.
