Turkeys sure are goofy... I&#39;ve seen one walk almost a mile to get to a gate in a barbwire fence instead of ducking underneath or flying over it. They can
fly but just don&#39;t like to.

The big tom I got in NE last year, he was following a hen thru a pasture. the hen crossed a fence/road, but he just stood on my side of the fence and

Well everyone, Kirk got his turkey and he was a beauty.  After taking pictures, he dressed it out and did it taste good!  We had some this past weekend.

He shot the bird Friday afternoon in our woods.  At the time, I was walking behind my fertilizer spreader when I hear what sounded like a cannon going off.  I
darn near dropped some extra fertilizer in the yard, if you know what I mean!

better than they really are. I liked the guys with a tried and true hunting gone (not a 5700 dollar trap gun), dog in the truck, dip in the cheek... you

			<description><![CDATA[ My son has an 870 and he uses it for trap, using a long turkey barrel and full choke. He does pretty fair with it. I do the same with my Winchester, using a 
turkey barrel and extra full choke. I&#39;ve shot many perfect rounds with this configuration and it embarrasses me to say that I have shot better with my
Winchester than I ever did with my Browning BT99.

			<description><![CDATA[ For Turkey hunting, I have a Remington 870 SP... the SP just means that it&#39;s camo w/composit stock/forearm. It&#39;s got a little shorter barrel which is
nice for turkey hunting. 12ga. I really like the composite, you don&#39;t have to worry so much about the elements or scratching it up for that matter. Wood
always looks the nicest, but for an all purpose gun, one that gets worked and beat up like mine does... gotta love the composite.

stock which is a shame and I&#39;ve decided I might try going for a composite stock and fore end instead. I use this gun when I shoot trap. It was the one gun
I did not give up in my divorce, because I knew it could serve many purposes.
