Craig.....glad you got to see my photos of the VT800 and the Tourer together. Both really great bikes, but the Tourer is hands down the best. I can honestly say it is a better handling and riding bike. Do you have any pictures of your VT800?

By the way I did answer your Yuku messages. Trust you've gotten those messages.

it's just amazing seeing the photo of your '88 800 next to your tourer. again, as i mentioned to you my bike just previous to my tourer was an '88 vt800 shadow also. it was a sharp, sharp bike, but the tourer is awesome. check you inbox, i sent you a message.

Bob...as good as the 800 was to me, with the Tourer I don't even look back. There is just 'something' about riding this bike. It just feels right!

I love my Tourer!

Because the opportunity presented itself, I couldn't pass up the chance to photograph my old 88 Honda Shadow VT800 and my 98 Honda Shadow ACE Tourer side by side. The new owner was on his way to pick up the VT800 and I grabbed my camera to take these pictures. I figured....when would I ever have two motorcycles in my garage!?! So here are the photos. Its just a little nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Doug....thanks I am happy with the new-to-me Tourer. I'm looking forward to spending a solid week with it at Americade, week after next.

It sounds like you are on your way to making the scoot your own. I'm not sure why, but none of your pictures came through. I still haven't seen your 'T'.

However, I did get a good chuckle out of Diane's remark about the "little purses". I think it's mighty generous of Dan to offer you a pink coozie to carry around in them. You might want to consider getting a hair brush too.

I'm really happy for you! I can't wait to go home and see the pictures. (I'm guessing you used photobucket--they have that blocked here at work.)
A couple of comments from what some of the brothers have said.

If you can pick up a drive shaft cover really cheap--get it. Dan is right. It covers up a stupid looking factory sticker, and does add some saftey chrome. The other brothers are also right, you can't really see too much of it. As for...
