I have a stock seat with about 4,000 miles on it - $50 o.b.o. - and handlebars from either a Spirit or Sabre (I forget) that I bought from someone on here.
The handlebars are a little narrower and higher than the stock T. I never installed them, I think I paid $30 or 35 o.b.o. Prices do not include shipping.

Scott.....thanks for all the trouble you have gone through to illustrate the differences between the handlebars. I really appreciate it and I am certain that
others do also.

Now that I have seen the differences I can see that the Spirit bars are more like the ones on my old VT800C. When I got my Tourer I enjoyed the wider
positioning of the Tourer handlebars compared to the buckhorn style of the VT800C.

It's simple, really. Stock T bars are low and wide. Spirit bars are more like Harley buckhorns, higher and narrower.

I've made this swap twice, and I did destroy the grips on my current T. However, I made the swap in the...

Alain - I placed the bars in the risers on my bike. They put my hands up a little higher, in a little closer and back a bit. I'll try to take a picture

Also, the stock T bars made me feel like I was sitting ON the bike. My Spirit bars make me feel like I'm sitting IN the bike.

Oh yeah, and it's the easiest swap you'll ever do.
