That particular BMW may have been a Euro spec model, but that bike, a R1200CLC, was available here at one time, looks like 2003 and 2004. I remember sitting on one at the motorcycle show here in Cleveland, and really liking the looks of it. to see more look at the motorcycle cruiser website review here, they don't speak highly of it. Apparently they go for about $10,000 to $11,000 now.

This is the only BMW that I can truly say that I like the looks of. BMW should think about bringing this model to the US.

alain, those are great shots....i envy you on that ride. know you had a ball with your new bike.
bmw was a sponsor at the branson rally a few years ago and you could demo any of there bikes and i rode the rt. they are one smooth ride, but i kept getting my big foot caught between the clutch/brake where the levers are located so near the opposed cylinders. they let us go at more or less our own pace and i had mine up to 90 in nothing flat. later, bud

Rich....I am not as fortunate as you. My wife is deathly afraid of motorcycles. She won't even sit on mine...

Alain may I suggest a possible solution to the wife attending next year? Why not have her follow along in the car? When you arrive in Lake George she may then feel comfortable riding around the local area with you on the T?

Not as many as I would have liked to Roger. If you read my earlier postings about this years trip you would have read how unhappy I was riding with my brother because he doesn't stop often enough. In all fairness to him though he was done Americade...
