Yesterday as I was coming back home after riding the BRP with Fred and Andy (great time by the way) I came upon a motorcycle accident. The gentleman was not
seriously hurt, but was bleeding pretty good. It looked like he became fixated on the washed out edge of the road and headed for it. He ended up next to one of
the stone walls at an overlook, with his bike on top of him. Luckily most of him scraped the grass, but more that half of his skin... ]]>

			<description><![CDATA[ I always carry a FA kit.  It is small but has what I may need.  I also keep sunscreen in there as well.  Better to have and not need than to need and not have.

			<description><![CDATA[ When traveling, I will add a first-aid kit in the saddlebag. I don&#39;t leave it in there all the time because there are items in the kit that will degrade if
left in the heat. When in the local area, help is usually pretty close by with responder times less than 15 minutes. Out in the rural areas, things can be very
different. Sometimes there may not be any mobile phone service too.

Small bandages aren&#39;t very useful for a wreck so check your kit for large gauze pads, wrap,... ]]></description>
