That's what I use also, Bob. Sure makes cleaning the dried bugs off easier.

FWIW, I look just over the shield as long as I am noyt climbing or two up and I use "Plexus" for my windshield and face shield, inside and out. It is a great cleaner and leaves a protective film the helps prevent excessive rain drops and some fogging..Bob <><

Stan....thanks for relating your experiences with the RainX. When I bought the T I also got the original windshield. I've thought that I would like to try a switch and see for myself what the differences are like.

My personal experience with RainX is that it works great in rain, but is terrible in foggy conditions. The rain runs right off, but the tiny droplets of fog hang on too long before getting heavy enough to run off. The anti fog solution didn't help this much either. I can see through the rain drops better than I can see through a fogged up windshield. Again, this is personal experience with it.

Bob....I had the same experience and I love it. My visor hasn't been down since I got the Clearview.

That's good news. I went with the taller windshield as my height causes me to look right into the top edge of the stock windshield. An inch either way would make a great deal of difference so I opted for the taller windshield.

I appreciate your feedback and look forward to getting my windshield for my Valkyrie. I will let you know how I like it once I get it installed.

By the way, you have a pretty nice tourer.

John, Took my first ride with the new shield today and the change was remarkable. No earplugs needed for wind noise and could ride with my face shield up too.. All in all a huge improvement.. I would guesstimate that 85% of the wind noise is gone...Bob <><

It was about 6 weeks I think.. I know they are pretty backed up. I called them a couple of times to check on it's progress and they were very helpful when I did, even encouraging me to check with them regularly..Bob <><

I ordered a clearview shield for my valkyrie a couple of weeks ago, same size as yours with vent. Glad to hear the positive feedback.

On a side note, now long did it take from the time you ordered to the time you received it.

New clearview shield

Rec'd my new Clearview shield today a +3.5" with a Valk cut. Installation was easy with a perfect fit. The shield is really beautiful and thicker than the stock one. The folks at Clearview did everything exactly as promised and the results are great..Just thought I would let folks know of my good experiences.... Bob <><
