It was great, but tiring. Learned a lot about myself, my bike and another part of the USA. I will post a travelog soon, along with some photos, if I can figure
out how to post them. The short version is the "T" performed very well. It could easily do an iron butt and more, but my butt can't, even with an
air hawk..Will try to get the complete story up soon..Bob <><

Awesome trip! Having just spent 8 days in Dallas moving my mother in law, I can agree with everything you said about Texas drivers. I am from Dallas and it has
been 20 years since I lived there and it didn't used to be like that but now it taking your life in your own hands even in a cage, which I was.

One question...my T is equipped like yours, Mustang and Cobra floorboards, but did you have some sort of cruise control or just hold the grips for all of those
miles?

Thanks for the pics and write up.
Every one of these long trips is a learning experience. There is always something you wish you had brought with you. The wife and I have got it down to being
very simple.
I apologize for my fellow Texan's driving habits. Texan's are the friendliest people on earth, until we get in our cars. Then it's every man for
himself. The road is mine. Don't drive on it!!

FANTASTIC....AWESOME, those are just a couple of words that come to mind. what an adventure. great road shots and write up. i've debated for a month or so
now to take off for the "dragon" and it would only be about a 1500 mile round trip. what you've done is something many of us just dream about,
but it has given me the enthusiasm to get packed up and hit the road this year.

Glad you had an enjoyable and safe ride Bob. We are just nice folks up here in the upper left corner of the country (but we have our idiots, too). I wish I had
known you were coming - you could have shipped your bikes to my place if the Harley dealer hadn't worked out so well. Even on short rides I have my rain
gear, a face shield, 3 pair of gloves and face/neck warmer with me (along with tools) - our weather can change so quickly and our weathermen don't know
what they are talking...

Ok fellow riders. Here goes: Three of us shipped our bikes(2-"T"'s and an electra glide) to Seattle, WA via JC motors, who did a first rate job,
exactly as promised.. They were sent to Downtown Harley Davidson, which is in a suburb of Seattle and a short distance from the airport. The HD dealership was
chosen because they were happy to receive our bikes and store them for several days without charge. The large Honda dealership wanted $20 per day and did not
seem too...
