i think i will pay more for the polycarbonate shield with all of the rocks and crap that the trucks kick up off
the road.

plus if some kid throws something off of an overpass i would rather have it bounce off of the shield than go
through the shield and HIT ME !

			<description><![CDATA[ We probaby don&#39;t have glass windshields because bike makers are trying to save money everywhere they can . I am sure it woul cost alot more to make a glass
windshield to fit the T . It is possible , but would cost alot more than the plastic ones we have . I am also not really sure it would be any stronger , it
would just break into smaller peices like a auto windshield does . Without the frame to hold it into place it would just collapse when it did break though ,
not stay in place like a... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I don&#39;t think that the mass of your body would be stopped and thrown back onto the bike by the poly windshield. The frame work would at least give way upon
impact. It&#39;s gonna hurt like sin either way.

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>A couple of weekends ago, if I would have had a polycarbonate shield perhaps I would not have had such a hard hit on SR 16 in Virginia.  My Rifle acrylic
windshield broke outward barely slowing down my forward progress after hitting a 12&quot; dirt ridge in my off-road excursion.  Maybe I would not have landed
in the middle of the road, but more towards one side and at a slower speed.  On the other hand, maybe I would have landed at a different angle that may have
broken bones or otherwise... ]]></description>

i use to drive a truck for a living and one day some kids threw a rock the size of a baseball at my truck. it went through my windshield, missed my head but
put a lot of glass in my eyes, missed 5 weeks of work until i could see good enough to drive again. so yes rocks, hammers and baseballs do fly. not to mention
the HWY&#39;s out here are really starting to fall apart. thats why i like the back roads so much. in the case of an unfortunate fly-over, i would rather ride
on top of... ]]></description>
