I keep hmm'ing and haw'ing about a headlight modulator. Will probably get one but I'm wondering if they will become transparent to the cagers. I remember when GM first introduced day-time running lights, it seemed I could spot a GM car from a mile away. Now I (and others) probably don't see them.

I installed my Back-off taillights over a year ago. I've noticed the same results that you did... cars seems to stop about 10-15 feet behind me. My advice is, if you are going around something at 40 mph or 80 mph do it smoothly. Sudden inputs to the handlebar will send you into a rear wheel slide. Trust me, I know.
