Alan,

I keep hmm'ing and haw'ing about a headlight modulator. Will probably get one but I'm wondering if they will become transparent to the cagers. I
remember when GM first introduced day-time running lights, it seemed I could spot a GM car from a mile away. Now I (and others) probably don't see them.

I installed my Back-off taillights over a year ago. I've noticed the same results that you did... cars seems to stop about 10-15 feet behind me. On...

OK Fred..... let's see what ya make of this.......There's nothing like a patch of wet leaves for leaving skid marks in yer skivvies. Or maybe...... Any
ride that did less than $100 damage to the bike was a good one. Your life may someday depend on what the person in front of you drank for breakfast. Was that
push or pull the left bar to go.....uh..... was it right or the other right? And, of course, the main rule of safe riding: Consult Magic 8 Ball before starting
engine.

Whatever it is, go around it. You can't tell a rock from cotton candy at 80 miles per hour.

Alan,

My advice is, if you are going around something at 40 mph or 80 mph do it smoothly. Sudden inputs to the handlebar will send you into a rear wheel slide.
Trust me, I know. Racers say ride with "slow hands" and they know their stuff.

The headlight mod unit fit right into the headlight housing with room to spare. Easy to install. Cut a few wires according to instructions, twist, solder, heat
shrink wrap, shove it all together. I just left the electric eye attached to the throttle cable with a wire tie. The brake light is a bit trickier. I mounted
the control box under the seat and had to run an extra wire from one of the brake lights back to the control box. I kinda ran it outside the fender for now and
I will neaten it up...
