You have a good point. Maybe Ken should just take his floorboards to a local welder and have some new bottom plates welded on. Why bother replacing it. The way you and Fred ride, you'll just scratch up the new one which will soon look like the old one

There is something about riding with you and wearing out tires. Two years ago I also was convinced I had enough tread to ride from Indiana down into Georgia with you and back. I had a heck of a time getting back riding 10 to 15 mph slower than the speed limit in the rain and still my front tire slipped sideways a few inches a couple of times. Very scary!
