Shell decided to test their new CJ4 formulations due to the high volume of questions received from bike owners. The old formulations
didn&#39;t pass due to higher than allowable ash content. But restrictions on ash and sulfur content for 2007 and later on-road diesels caused them to change
the formulation. The new 15W40 does pass JASO MA, and the new 5W40 synthetic which will be introduced in a month or so also passes. And because bikers... ]]>

			<description><![CDATA[ I use Rotella in my T and other bikes, but have continued the use of Amsoil in my Wing the same as the original owner. I don&#39;t know how this oil would
perform in the T, but in my Wing I barely can tell the difference in turn overs, whether it be 40F or 90F. Could be that the Wing has a much stronger starter
or battery to turn all those cylinders over with, but the cold does not seem to faze it much.

			<description><![CDATA[ too bad they don&#39;t make a 5w30, been using 15w40 Rotella for ages in all my bikes, never a problem. Tried Mobil one, I did NOT like the results, yes the
bike &quot;felt&quot; stronger, but fuel mileage decreased dramatically, I rather give up the &quot;feel&quot; of a few extra hp for an extra 5mpg ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Thanks for the info. My bike likes their new formulation just fine. I was using Castrol 20w50 during the hot summer, but have switched to the 15w40 for the
winter and may just use it year around..BTW, I am getting a little better fuel economy with the 15w40 Rotella.....Bob &lt;&gt;&lt;
