I have been over to Port Townsend a few times and did do one ride south of Port Townsend to Shelton passing by Seabeck. That whole area is just beautiful bike riding country and a nice way to travel from B.C. over to Astoria en-route to the Oregon Coast. I'll keep an eye out for this spot next time I get down that way.

Scott, thanks for posting the pic, kudos to the photog! LOL on the reflection on the peak comment, and WOW, I am normally not a "green" vehicle (color not trees etc) kind of guy, but I LOVE that color on the Tour!

Great picture Scott. The more I look at it, the more I'm intrigued with it.

The Pacific northwest is truly a beautiful part of the U.S. Just out of curiosity, where abouts was this picture taken as I might just have ridden by this spot without remembering it.

I would say that is the perfect picture that encapsulates the longing we all feel in the off season. Ah to be riding again, and to pause in front of some beautiful scenery. I think the fact that you are facing away from the camera makes you want to take the place of the person in the photo and see what he sees (or maybe I have been out of the saddle too long )

Scott....every time my 6' 6" son walks up to me he takes the sleeve of his shirt and buffs my forehead. He says things are getting a little dull up there. I often wonder exactly what he's talking about.

Thanks Alain. When I first stumbled across a T and found out about this color combination, I limited my search to this year, model and color. Like your search, it took a while to find that perfect bike. Thanks for being my friend!!

Scott....absolutely gorgeous photo, except for the glare off that one mountain peak.

We don't get to see many Tourers with your color combo on this forum and I find it refreshing. Beautiful T, you should be proud.

I sit and stare at this pic on my desktop thru all of our record snow and rain. My son is stuck in Eastern Washington because all three mountain passes are closed due to snow and avalanche concerns. Expect flooding in the next month.
