I bought my '86 Yamaha Venture Royale without ever having ridden one or even sat on one just because it was Yamaha and I loved the look, and they were
sellilng cheap!. I run the National Ford Taurus SHO Club http://www.shoclub.com and they have Yamaha engines, so I
thought the connection was worth exploring. I bought this 20,000...

I used to have a Virago 750. Great bike.
I followed a 88 Venture Royale with a Voyager trike kit for about 600 miles through the Texas Hill Country weekend before last. It's a beautiful bike. He
bought it in Sercy, AR a few months ago, with the trike kit, for around $3000.00. It has 31,000 miles on it. Still had the original tires, which were badly
weathered!!!!! The bike runs great, but it gets terrible gas mileage.

don, that is a beauty. the yamahas are great bikes. my first two cruiser style bikes (back in the early 80's) were yamahas. first was an 850 special and
the next one was an 1100 special. those bikes were awesome...tons of torque. i rode the 1100 from kansas city to houston one summer....no windshield, no
saddlebags, just my old army duffle bag stuffed with cloths, etc and set behind me for a backrest.
the ventures had a very futuristic look to them and look very comfortable...enjoy...

Alain, Your brother ought to check-out www.venturers.org for information on the Venture Royale. They have a great tech library for repairs and add-ons.
Actually, they are having a Ride-in in the Adirondacks in mid August. Members can attend and invite a friend.

David....thank you. I'm going to pass this information along to my brother in case he is not familiar with the website. Thanks for thinking of
me with this information. I would love an August ride in...

Hey Don,

I believe we belong to two of the same motorcycle clubs: HSATF and Venturers. I looked at your login name and said: that name looks familiar. That is a very
nice looking Venture Royale. I ride a Royal Star Venture and a Tourer.

You came to the right place to learn more about the Tourer. Welcome to the forum!!

Don....Thanks for posting the pictures and giving us all a chance to see what you and the Misses look like. I envy you the fact that your wife rides too.

I am extremely familiar with the Yamaha Venture Royale. My younger brother is so hot for one of these, he can't stand it. For the past three years at
Americade he has dragged me over to look at every single one we come across. And I can't blame him. For the money you get everything. My brother has bid on
several on ebay...
