Good Luck with your future trip throughout the U.S. There is a wealth of information from the forum members as to sites to see and roads to ride. Once you figure out your itinery just ask a few questions and you will be surprised at how much help you will receive. My suggestion is to hone in on a specific area of the U.S. ( north, south, west and east) that you would like to see and go from there.

Sorry to hear you are selling. Is it advertised here somewhere? I think I have bough a 99 Tourer in Oregon - will know in a few days for sure. The trials of being so far away and 12 hours different time zone!

The South West here is actually populated! This is the best place to live in West Aus. so i can understand your relatives being there. You ar right about the caution but that is fine by me - I put myself in their place and I would be cautious about an approach from so far away. I buy stuff on Ebay regularly for my 65 Buick Riviera (background of my photo) so I guess this has broken down that barrier for me.

I ride a ACE 1100 c2. The Tourers were never sold in Australia but I travel overseas a lot and I have seen them in the US. I'm coming to the West in July with a buddy to ride for a month so we intend buying a couple of Tourers and then maybe selling at the end of our trip.
