hadn't been back to this post for awhile, but the answer to your question is NO. it was in chicago and we were going up that weekend to look at it. i called to make sure it was still available and they said "yeah". rudy (lillians son)is the one who found it, so he called also and talked to the guy he had dealt with and he told rudy it was sold! we then called and talked to the sales manager and he finally told us the truth...unusual for a used car...

yeah they did alain. i was a little surprised it sold so quickly, as most people want a stick shift in a sports car. our problem is lillian has never driven a stick. i restored an MG midget years ago and tried to teach her to drive it, but she just couldn't get the hang of it. luckily, we found a lady with simular skills and this is just what she was looking for.
i told lillian we're probably selling a better car than we're looking to buy, but she's always wanted a...

we're selling the mazda miata we bought a few years ago as we're thinking of moving up to a porsche boxster.
we are second owners of this 29,000 mile car and it's in excellent condition....period!! needs nothing! lillian has been the major driver of the car since we've had it and it's always been garaged/covered and never driven in the winter or even in the rain since we've had it. it is absolutely mint.
