        <![CDATA[ I purchased a Honda Line sissy bar for my T and the bar
hits the back of the seat and the pad takes up some of the seating are for my wife. I have a cobra seat on it and have tried 3 differeent sissy bars on it. I
even had one of my friends that had a regular Honda shadow with a cobra seat on his let me try it on my bike. Still the same. Any help would be appreciated.

dont think they will move the rest back far enough to help me though

so a friend is goin to cut me some pieces out of galvanized and weld them together to move my

turning signals and backrest back several inches

then I can mount saddle bags and make wife more comfortable with her knees

goin to have them powercoated crome, or thats the plan at the moment anyway ]]></description>

<p> Genuine Honda side straps and backrest.........not copies,  or Cobra as Shcoolbusman had. The real Honda mounts are taller and longer than after market
copies or Cobra (see my photos above).</p>

			<description><![CDATA[ You may have the shorter Honda brackets. They do come in different heights. I found this out last year when I owned 2 T&#39;s. One had a shorter set of
brackets than the other, and the taller bracket sat further back. I&#39;m thinking the differences were about 1&quot; taller and longer. Measure yours like I
did in the below pics and compare. The 1st pic is the shorter set, and the 2nd pic is the taller set. Notice in the 2nd pic I had to lean the tape back in an
angle to get the height... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I think you have the wrong brackets that the sissy bar bolts to. My brackets end farther back than yours. Not much help, but my sissy bar bolts on at least
3&quot; to 3 1/2&quot; farther back. I have Honda line brackets.

The top of the brackets on my bike are taller than yours also, maybe 3&quot; taller so the back rest will be higher to with the right brackets. 3&quot; higher
and 3 1/2&quot; back with the right brackets.
