The stock oil filter is 67mm O.D. X 66.7mm Long

The filter that i put on today is 77mm O.D. X 103.2mm long

I now have a filter that is BIG enough for my peace of mind.

I think this is the biggest one that will fit my T, it went on with

no problems on my bike, i could get a larger(o.d.) filter to fit but

i could not find one that was not to long for my T.

For those of you that like Wix filters, Wix makes two of the big filters, p/n 51344 that is 4.069" tall and 3.242" o.d. with an By-Pass Valve
Setting-of 8-11 psi, and p/n 51568 that is 4.072" tall and 3.234 o.d. with an By-Pass Valve Setting-of 16 psi. These are BIG filters and may not fit your
bike, but if they do, they will filter more oil, filter the oil better and last longer. These will fit my "T" but Roger(Mountain Tourer) could not
get the 4" tall Baldwin...

Yes, i hate little oil filters. I put oversize filters on all my vehicles, you get better filtration with a larger filter, the slower the oil passes through
the filter the better it works. No, you will not be able to use your wrench, but i just use my hand or a pair of Channellocks to take it off, I always use my
hand to put the filter on. I have not gone to the auto store to look at filters(PureOne, Fram, M1, Bosch) yet, but this filter(B161-S) is off an 1986 Mazda 626
