Congrats on the new bike. Like Skip said, we're just a bunch of friends that like to ride bikes. One of the things that bound us together is that at one point in our lives, we all have owned a VT1100CT.

love those stars and you have a great looking one. my first two bikes nearly 40 years ago were yammies. keep us informed on how you like its' performance.

I think I've discovered that the pipes are really Jardine Rumblers. I couldn't find any V&H pipes that looked like these.

It's a beauty!!
I ride with a guy that rides a Road Star Midnight Star with Show Chrome pipes. Sounds great. I make sure I'm not directly behind him on road trips!!!!

Well, It was time to get a bigger bike, that I could still get parts for, so I traded in the "T", and bought a new,( for me), Yahama Road Star. It has 17.5K miles on it, and a LOT of the things I had wanted for my T. Sorry to disappoint you guys, but a change was needed with the baby coming. I will continue to still come to this site, and I hope I will still be welcome.
