Does someone have a picture of this Valk Cut shield? I'm very interested since I often like to ride sans shield.

Thanks.

Alain,
These days, home is where we park it. We are currently near Orlando, and very slowly making our way back towards Wisconsin.
I got your message on our website's guestbook. Even though we bought our first RV in 1978, we have learned really alot since we've been out on the
road. When the time comes for you, I'd be glad to share some of the things we've learned.

ColtsJerry,
I have a Clearview, Valk cut +1. I looked for pics, but I couldn't find one that really shows the shield well. I really like the shield, and the folks at
Clearview are great to work with.
The original has holes for the stock directionals or Cobra lightbar. With that shield (or the stock shield) you have to take the light bar apart to get the
shield off. The Valk cut has a cutaway that does not surround the lightbar assembly like the stock shield. That is why...

I definitely will be replacing my stock shield with a valk-cut clearview....not sure if I want the vent, though. If I convince myself about the vent, I'll
email you. Let me think about it. But you do have the size shield I'm looking for.

I'm really glad I checked this forum because I was about to order a new shield w/o the Valk cut. I often like to ride without my shield on short trips

Okay....I think I've got it now! My Clearview windshield must be like the original because it has the holes for headlamp and turn signals to poke through.
I'm guessing that the "Valk Cut" does not have plexiglass going all around the headlamp and turnsignals.

I have the valk cut clearview and really like it. Don't have any pictures, so recommend the ones on the clearview site. You can remove and install it
without touching the lights, at least on my bike. You do have to pull the lights to remove the stock one, unless you want to cut the shield. The clearview is
wider and in my case higher. It is also thicker .. I am glad I bought the valk cut clearview...Bob <><

Here is a link to Clearview. It shows the T shield with the optional vent. I just so happen to have a brand new Clearview with vent for a T. It is the +1.5.
It is still in the box from Clearview...never even opened. I see that the wait time on a shield is 7-8 weeks right now.
I would part with the shield for $240.00..that includes shipping to the Lower 48 states. That price should save you about $55.00. My email is bobmeyer at
