I did not have to look up any of the information. It is all contained in the tire specification. The '140' means 140 mm wide or 5.512". I came up with different numbers.
140/70-18=25.7in
130/80-18=26.2in

But I think it's moot. I only see that size in REAR tires and not in radials either. BJ, which tire model did you find as a front radial?
disclaimer: I'm not saying rear tires cannot be run on the front, but unless you really know what you're doing it's best to stick with the vendors' design intent.

A 140/70R18 tire is 1.18" taller and 0.4" wider than a 130/80R18 tire. I do not know if there is enough clearance to put a 140/70R18 tire on a T, but I would guess that turn-in effort and turn-in time will increase when going through the tight turns in your neck of the woods. In other words, I would think the larger tire would not be as easily maneuverable.
