I wanted a Tourer but things didnt work out that way

I ended up with 1996 VT1100C2 ACE, so I hope thats good enough to belong here 

I&#39;m from Ky and started riding Nov 2006

I had at that point sent a few hours on a cycle, a couple hour of a C90 Street n Trail as a teen,

then a hour or so on a 750 Hondamatic in my early 20&#39;s, 2 years a go my oldest son whose in his

			<description><![CDATA[ I feel your pain with cleaning those spokes. Takes so much time and effort to keep them looking nice, especially if they&#39;ve been neglected in the first
place. I had spoked wheels on my VLX600, and by the time I got the whole way around the wheel cleaning those buggers, it was time to start over again!! The
previous owner of the bike didn&#39;t take care of it, and the rims were pitted, too. It was a never-ending battle, and I seriously considered powdercoating

and that didnt even really touch the spokes which I&#39;m a afraid are about hopeless,

rusted beyond getting shiny again, thinking about useing a converter compound to make

them black and at least seal them from rusting farther

			<description><![CDATA[ There are after market covers for the lower battery area and frame, but there was not a factory one. I just applied some chrome tape to the bottom side of the
battery and it looks better. My new sealed battery was solid black and didn&#39;t look that bad, but I put chrome tape on it also.
