        <![CDATA[ i love the rat rods, both in cars and motorcycle. this past week, a friend of mine bought this one. in case some of you don&#39;t know what they are,
they&#39;re a well built (hopefully) frame, motor, tranny, suspension, brakes, etc. with an old rusty body of some kind fitted to them. this one started life
as a &#39;40 chevy pickup and parts from all sorts of cars/trucks added.

he asked me if i&#39;d come over and stencil his doors and make it look old like the rest of the truck, so... ]]>

We&#39;ve been looking for an old truck around here to mess with, but I really like the idea of the ratty chopped body with a newer suspension, frame, motor,
etc. Theres a guy here who restores old cars and trucks and his back yard is a total museum of ratty ol&#39; gems just waiting for some luv. ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ One of my few dips into building cars was a &#39;64 Chevy. I ultimately painted it, but I ran it for over a year primered about 5 different colors. Like you
said, the engine compartment was so clean and shiny that you could eat off it, but the outside was pretty ugly. I did the interior in patch work blue jeans,
complete with pockets, buttons, and zippers. It was a real sleeper, but putting out about 575HP and turning low 11&#39;s in the 1/4 mile.

Of course none of the cars had prices on them so I had to contain my excitement till we got home and went to their web site.

That is when the full steam ahead freight train de-railed.  As Alain noted....the prices they are asking for these cars are out of this world!

extinction. No young person today could get into Street Rodding because of the exorbitant prices todays owners think that their cars are worth. If I wanted to

this isn&#39;t a project anymore, IT&#39;S FINISHED! this car is missouri safety inspected and completely road worthy. can you imagine the look of somebody in
a 40k dollar luxury vehicle being passed on the interstate by this thing?

when i had some of my old cars, people would actually get mad at me when i passed them...they&#39;d turn around and pass me right back, and my cars were not
rat rods, just old hot rods and customs.
