Dawn,

E3's are pretty good tires. Did an 'emergency' replacement of my back tire during our southern Ohio rally in 2006. Put a matching tire up front in early 2007. Logged about 6k on the tires and they still looked good. My other favorite are the Bridgstone G007's. I would get almost 10k miles a set and really inexpensive.

My speedo is off by about 5 mph at 55 (actual speed closer to 50). The mathmatic equations are discussed in other threads here.

Dawn, I didn't think the E3 came in the stock front size 130/80r18...Did you get the 130/70r18? and if so, what have you noticed as far as speedo error. I have about 12500 on my rear E3 and front 206, but it is getting close to replacement time. Did you find a deal somewhere that you can share? Thanks, Bob <><

Alain, I wasn't really serious about the charts and graphs, but I was serious about TIO after flipping through pages and pages and pages of tire info on the 'net!

I was flip-flopping between the D206 and the E3 for the front...and yes, many owners do stick with the D206 for the front. My hubby actually made the final decision for the E3 front, as he thought it would be best to have matching tread...

Dawn.....I was just a bit surprised by your going with the Dunlop E3 for the front. I thought that the concensus of opinion was that the Stock Dunlop D206 for the front tire was still the way to go. What did you investigation reveal?
