        <![CDATA[ Finally got my ACE tourer Honda brackets!! Only took 5 weeks. Installed them today but needed to modify the mounting by getting a longer bolt that mounts the
bracket to the triple clamp (stock is a 20mm, I needed a 25mm) and had to use about 6 washers to take up the slack. When I tried to install it with the clamps
flush against the triple clamp, the brackets on the shield were too low!!


I have the Clearview shield that is the &quot;Valk cut&quot; but everything is supposed to line up.... ]]>

front and back so that maybe we can see what the possible problem might be?

			<description><![CDATA[ Nope. They are a good 1-1.25 inches lower off the triple clamp. I had to get longer bolts and fill the space with washers. For some reason (and I think
it&#39;s the way the Clearview shield is drilled) when you seat the lower crossbar on the 2 bolts under the headlamp, the two upper brackets are too low if you
have the fork brackets mounted flush against the triple clamp and have the &quot;wing&quot; that extends from the fork clamp bolted on to the bottom of the
triple clamp the way it... ]]></description>
