<![CDATA[ I am attempting to lower my 99 Ace Tourer for my wife and need some suggestions. I have put the original factory seat back on the bike, but since it is so
wide, I really didn't gain anything. I have been told that I can only lower the shocks by about 1/2 - 3/4" and that if I change the tires to a lower
profile I may gain about 1/2". Has anyone attempted this, and if so, what did you do and how much did you gain. My wife is only 4'11", so see
my dilema. ]]>

tube clamps and let the triple tree slide down a 1/2in and no more then 3/4in I did 1/2 and what a difference. It even felt better coming to a stop- it
