Scariest bridge experience for me took place every week when I lived in the Seattle area. Had to cross the Evergreen Point (floating/pontoon) bridge. Some nights on the way back to Bellvue, it would be windy, the waves would be breaking over the side of the bridge, and I was on a little Yamaha 400 Special without proper gear. I'm thinking, for a 2 week trip... 3 pair of jeans and 5 t-shirts
and of course one pair of skivees will last 4 days. front, back... turn inside out, repeat!

I was very lucky because I was staying with friends and family so I planned on doing laundry. I was able to cut my wardrobe in half. If I had a co-pilot I'm sure that we would need additional luggage...

That Harley is an awesome machine. I really liked the Ultra I had, and I hope to get another one one day. Harley does make an awesome touring machine!

One of my scariest rides ever was across the bridge over Tampa Bay in 1978. It was winter, dark, rush hour traffic, raining and gusting winds as my bike wiggled across the metal grating at the top of the bridge. What fun, if you liked to be scared to death.
