Bud, they look good for ten year old pipes. the only real problem is the road rash on the bottom of the left side tip It's not noticeable but as you know, it is replaceable. Let me know if you would be willing to trade as I am having a little trouble with the V&H sealing.

Don't be so quick to judge. I've seen it happen more than once on this site. Someone gets tired of the loud pipes they "just had to have" and regreted selling their stock pipes.

you may very well be right on, and i may be that guy. the T i got has jardines on it and i may be interested in trading for stock. generally, i like loud, but on this bike, just don't think it works.
give me a few days and see...

My bike is enjoying the admiring looks and taking the dirty looks (from Harley guys) in stride. That's Sturgis for you

let the harley guys know the T is also made in the USA...that'll really p*#@ them off. when i tell them that (goldwings also) they just usually give you a look and walk away.
my vanity plate reads...USA-MD...get a lot of comments on that!

Sorry If I came across as arrogant. I was comlpletely identifying with you I have spent muchas hours looking for this type of deal, the fact that it has happened keeps me wishing. I'm just afraid my patience won't last long enough for the deal to come around, but my wallet is afraid to not wait

The feller that bought my unmodified factory pipes was doing just that. He was wanting to get the bike back quieter again because the loud pipes had become too annoying on long trips.
