HSATF Road Captain Posts: 300 05/13/08 11:36 PM Second Officer	Tags : None Skip, Thought I'd better check in since I've been away for a while . I didn't get to ride much last season , damn doctors , but I'll be riding more this year . I had an experience last Sunday on a ride with a few freinds . After the ride one of the guy's had to take his Cobra ( replica ) to a nearby car show on Route 66 . I was following him and another guy on a BMW K1200S , on my Nomad,when we made a turn and I saw the rear end of the Cobra squat down . The Cobra ( 575 hp ) and the BMW launched like rockets and all of a sudden , no matter how much throttle I grabbed , I was just a spectator ! Kind of put's things in perspective . More like watching a movie . Take care Doug I'm glad to be here but.....where was I going ?

HSATF Road Captain Posts: 300 05/14/08 11:19 PM Second Officer	Alain I'm still taking the coumadin so my rides are more close to home and I'm wearing all the gear all the time these days . Skip I think that probably answers your question , unfortunately . At least for this riding season anyway . I'm still trying to get the doctors to put me on something besides coumadin . Bama , sorry the only ride I've made was Caldwell in 06' and you missed that one so we'll have to meet another time . Until then guys....enjoy the ride ! HSATF Road Captain Posts: 300 05/15/08 10:47 PM Second Officer	Well guys that's a thought . I'll throw it into the hopper with the wife and we'll see how it shakes out . Don't know if I can earn enough $$ between now and then to afford the premium the Solstice takes though . Regular is $ 3.93 around here now ! I'll check the dates for conflicts . We are going to the Red Bull Moto GP in Indy in September the second weekend in Sept. I'll do the research . Thanks for the idea Andy . Doug I'm glad to be here but.....where was I going ?
