Posts: 414 08/12/03 11:39 PM	Tags : None I got my bike posted on the "Member's Bike" forum today and a comment that came back about it gave me the idea for this poll. I didn't set it up with the "Poll" setup, since it doesn't give you a lot of options. Anyway, here's the question. I've owned my "T" since July 1997 and currently have a little over 32,000 miles on it. That's six years and one month. Has anyone owned their "T" longer than that? Ken

I have to admit that for the last two seasons here in Illinois I've not kept my mileage up to the standard I set up the first few years. I've only got about 27,500 or so on mine. By the way great color choice, I have the same . This month I'll be cruising Wisconsin and next month it'll be down to Louisiana for a short trip. That's still not the miles I should be doing but what the hell I do what I can get away with between the wife and the boss ! Keep Ridin' Doug

I was hoping that I was going to win this one and have something to feel superior about in the ACE Tourer forum, but it looks like you're the front-runner at the present. I guess I'll try to win the title of the tallest "T" owner...I'm 6'5". If someone ups me on that one, I'm almost a shoe-in for the meanest and ugliest "T" owner. What do you think? Ken

Posts: 5864 08/13/03 7:47 PM	Ken, I have had my T since Sept. of '99. It currently has 46,040 miles on it. I have put on 38,500 of those miles. Wouldn't trade the experience of commuting, touring and srafing the Dragon on my T for anything. It's been great! Fred

Posts: 231 04/21/06 1:14 AM	Picked up my 2000 T in May 2001...put 8400miles on her by the first of June...had to buy a new rear tire in those first 4 weeks...got 54,840 mi on it now and have never had to do more than change the oil, new batt, and tires ...never has let me down...although, I have run out of gas on a couple of trips out west ...one time we had just passed the sign in Kansas the proclaims to be the "geographical center of the continental U.S."...and I can tell you there is no gas there! Posts: 6 05/10/07 10:43 PM	Well hello to everyone, I will start with the Forum poll: I bought my 2000 "T" in May of 2001 with 1.1 miles on the odo. so I have had her for 6 yrs, (16,000 miles now). First bike and I am glad it has been a GREAT experience. As soon as I find the pictures I'll post them. Gr8scott51, I saw your green/creme "T" there this years Governor's Run, and I thought the same exact thing, the only other ACE here, thanks for the card !
