 Picked up my Kendon trailer last night. Man!! Those things are purdy!!! It's all black and chrome. Just like Elvira. Gonna load her up on it and drive around just to see how it works.I think I have a personal problem. I am developing a trailer fetish. I my have to join "TA". (Trailers Annonomous).

Well. Elvira and the Kendon made the trip to Eureka Springs without a hitch. No. Wait a minute. There was a hitch. But, it was required.
We pulled the trailer (with Elvira) a little over 1300 miles. Over some very crooked and steep roads. We pulled it with a V6 2003 Explorer (now with hail damage, but that's a different story). The rig pulls like it's not even there. The torsion bar independent suspension totally eliminates any trailer hop or sway. So. If anybody is in the market for a trailer, I can now personally recommend the Kendon. |

Yo Dan if it tows half as good as it looks its no doubt a double winner. Glad to see you made it home. Hopefully Pea Ridge spared you on thr return.

That IS one sweet trailer, Dan. I only wish I could afford one right now. Of course, Dan, I WILL accept donations for the cause if you have any extra money jars you have buried in the back yard. LOL

Thanks guys. I really like the setup.
Stan. Can't bury jars in the backyard in Houston. Everytime I dig a hole, it fills up with water!!!! If I had a pickup, I would like to have a setup like yours. I'm not overly fond of pulling trailers. Even if they do pull as nice as this one does. |

I have plenty of trailers, but I really liked Stans rig. I had planned to take some pics of Stans rig and build myself one. With all the rain, I didn't get to. May see if Stan wiil take some pics and send to me. If he want I may show up in his yard with my camera!

But if I decide to build one I will need some CLOSE-UPS! It will be at least this fall before I have time for any projects! Thanks for the offer on the pics!

Dan....glad to hear you made it home all right. Sure was good meeting you and your wife in Eureka Springs. I certainly came away from this trip with many memorable impressions. Meeting all of you personally was an experience I will never forget. Our Thursday evening get together conversation was fabulous.
Of course you know how favorably impressed I was with your new trailer. That is one great trailer. Well thought out, well engineered and good looking. I had to agree with the vote Friday evening that you ride one really good looking Tourer. If you hadn't gotten up earlier than me Sunday, I might have had me a new trailer to go home with.  Alain |

I just got to try the Kendon out.....again.
My son hit a sharp rock in the road and ruined the rear tire on his Valk T. I got to spend my Sunday afternoon going across Houston to get him. But, that is what it's for, right!!?? Anyway. Loading that Valk Tourer on the trailer with a flat rear tire was a chore. Man that things heavy!! |

Hey Dan, I just went to their web site and took a look at them. They are purdy; however, I'm too cheap to spend that much for one. I use a 10' utility trailer. It's a lot more bulky than what you have, but it works fine. I bought it someewhere in in Tennessee when I was on my way to pick up my T. I saw the place across the highway from where I was gassing up, so I went over to take a look. I couldn't pass up it only being $600. I payed $1500 less for my T AND the trailer than I would have had to pay for the T alone up here. That trip was worth it. Anyway, I'm rambling. That sure is a nice looking trailer though. Congrats! Oh, sorry to hear about you son's Valk. But aren't trailers great?

Kendon is proud of their trailers. But, they sure do pull nice. No bouncing or anything. I was really amazed. We loaded that big ole Valk on one side of the trailer and it didn't set unlevel at all. Pulled just like it does with a bike in the middle. One of the best things about the trailer is the fact that it stands up in the back of my garage. Out of the way. Dan |
