Included in the article is an evaluation of a new (to me) product called the Windjammer Helmet Wind Blocker. Included in this article are some sound bytes of the nosie level of various helmets that were tested. HSATF Tail Gunner Posts: 72 05/23/08 8:48 PM	Neat, but won't work on the 3/4 helmets that I wear. I notice the article mentions ear plugs. I have posted about these before, but to cut down on bike and wind noise, wear some good musicians style hearplugs. These let the full spectrum of noise through, but seem to almost totally stop any wind drumming and bike noises, while still letting me hear music better than ever, and my CB/intercom. Of course I have to turn up the music a little, but the sound seems better without the other noises. I haven't noticed any real reduction in awareness of what is going on around me. Only problem is remembering to put them in.
