What link is not working? I can see it just fine. It's a thumbnail instead of a link.
I just re-submitted the image. See if that helps. Stan "We are different --yet we are the same."

Scott.....great little truck. I especially like the color. I painted my 28 Ford Tudor 73 corvette yellow.

The subject of my truck came up in another thread and Stan was nice enough to post the picture there for me, I had no idea he was going to broker the sale of my truck! If it sells here a portion of the sale will go to the board.
A little info other than the picture (and I have more pictures): it is a 1968 Chevrolet C10 that started life as a plumbing truck, six cylinder, three on the tree, no options. It now has a fresh 350 complete with Corvette heads, an RV cam, HEI, cermachromed rams horn exhaust, Edelbrock intake and carb. It turns a rebuilt T5 transmission taken from an S10, giving the stock 3.73 a much needed overdrive gear. All of the usual rust problems were addressed with new sheet metal under the millenium Corvette (or chrome) yellow paint. Inside it has new carpets, a Silverado bench seat, power steering and a 6 disc cd changer. One of the things I'm proudest of is not visible in the picture - I narrowed an El Camino bumper to wrap around the step side box. The lowered suspension and disc brakes were all rebuilt. The truck has 3,500 miles on it since all of the work was completed. It has been my experience that good enough, isn't.

Hey Denny - The subject of retirement plans came up in another thread. My grand plan is to sell everything and travel around the country in a trailer while I am able, hence the sale of the truck. It just wouldn't fill the bill as a tow rig.

Quote:Scott, I did this as a last minute decision while I had my photo host up and running. I did'nt think you'd mind. I had such a hard time finding your original post on this that I decided that it should be in it's own space where it can be found easier. Seems to have worked pretty good. If ya got anymore you want put up, then send them to me. If you want them done full size, I can do that too. Stan "We are different --yet we are the same."

Scott,
Let us know when you head out on the road. I just put a downpayment on a new fifth wheel, and my house is up for sale. Retirement is set for June 15th. Maybe we'll see you out on the road. Stony

Part of the dream of retirement (for me) is to meet some of the very nice people with whom I've connected on the internet. For instance I would love to be in Arkansas in April, but that won't happen this year. The 67-72 Chevy truck board has annual gatherings, too. I'm taking the truck to the large annual swap meet in Portland in April - keep your fingers crossed for me.
